More Miracles from Pope John Paul
The Vatican has announced a precious gift for the Philippines (here). It is sending them a vial of the sainted Pope John Paul II’s blood, one of only seven such vials in churches throughout the world. The Church announced, “This precious gift … is truly a source of consolation and help especially for those who are suffering physical illnesses.” There was no mention of the physical illnesses cured by the mere proximity of this blood – contact with it is obviously out of the question. Can it cure AIDS? Have they donated a few drops to science to study its remote healing powers? Is this covered by the guarantee of papal infallibility?
