Freedom of Thought Report, 2015

The IHEU, The International Humanist and Ethical Union, has issued a country-by-country report on religious discrimination. It is unusual in several respects.

First, it is primarily concerned by discrimination against the non-religious by the religious. Second, it defines various levels of discrimination/persecution. But apart from some Muslim countries, these violations rarely approach the traditional Christian standards of burning people at the stake. The gradations are relatively subtle.

The report also provides a brief description of each country's religious context. The report provides an unusual perspective and considerable information.  It might make a useful reference. And it's free.
